Due to FFA's plans to introduce Under 13 Girls age groups in the 2010 National Titles, Northern NSW Football will be conducting State Championships in the U13 Girls age group in 2009. The purpose of these championships is to identify & develop players for NNSWF state team selection in 2010.
       The date for the girls championships is likely to be 26/27th September in Port Macquarie.
        Northern Inland Football has already conducted trials to select ONE team only for U13 Girls on Sunday 26th April 2009.
       Nominations are now being called for the position of coach for the U13 Girls team, due to the inability of the previously appointed coach, Kim Preece, being unable to fulfil the role due to illness. All applicants must make themselves available to attend the Championships in September and be prepared to co-ordinate and arrange team training sessions in both Tamworth and Armidale venues prior to the championships.
